What we actually do.

Four productized engagements covering the most common problems we see on WordPress and WooCommerce sites. Fixed price, clear scope, and outcomes we'll put in the SOW.

What we actually change in a speed rescue.

  • PHP version & OPcache. Half the slow WordPress sites we audit are on PHP 7.4 with no OPcache tuning. A 15-minute change buys 30–40% lower TTFB.
  • Database queries. We profile the actual queries your theme and plugins run. One badly-indexed autoload option can eat 500ms off every pageload.
  • Plugin diet. We don't delete plugins without asking, but we'll rank them by cost-per-value and tell you honestly which three are doing 80% of the damage.
  • Page builder overhead. Elementor, Divi, WPBakery — all shippable, none free. We tune what we can and propose swaps where the juice is worth the squeeze.
  • Image pipeline. Real WebP conversion, responsive srcset, lazy loading that actually works, and offloading to a CDN that isn't just a Cloudflare DNS entry.
  • Caching that actually works. Page cache + object cache + opcode cache, correctly layered. Most "cache plugin" setups we see break as often as they help.
  • CDN & edge rules. Cloudflare configured for the actual traffic pattern of your site — not the generic "Auto Minify everything" that breaks WooCommerce checkout.
  • Hosting reality check. If you're on shared hosting that physically cannot go faster, we say so. No amount of optimization fixes oversold shared hosting.

About Google updates.

We've been operating a content network through every major Google update since the original Panda in 2011. We've been hit, we've recovered, and we've watched thousands of sites do the same. That's what you're hiring when you hire us for an HCU audit.

TRUTH / 01

Most "recoveries" sold online are fake.

The actual recovery rate from HCU-style demotions is low, and almost every "we recovered 50 sites" case study online is either small fluctuations or sites that restructured completely. We'll tell you that honestly.

TRUTH / 02

The audit is real. The promise isn't.

What we sell is a forensic diagnosis and a prioritized roadmap — not a guaranteed recovery. You'll know exactly what got hit and what to change. Acting on it is up to you.

TRUTH / 03

Sometimes the answer is start over.

For some sites, the honest recommendation is to build a new brand on a new domain. We'll say so if that's what the data shows — and we can help with the rebuild.

About WordPress work, specifically.

Common questions from speed-rescue and care-plan scoping calls.

What happens if you can't pass Core Web Vitals?

+
The speed rescue engagement is money-back guaranteed: if we can't pass CWV on mobile within the scope of the engagement, we refund you. In practice we identify on the initial call whether your site is realistically fixable — we don't take the project if we don't think we can deliver.

Do I need to change hosting to work with you?

+
Not usually. We work with whatever stack you're on. If your host is genuinely a ceiling on what's achievable, we'll say so — and if you want to migrate while you're at it, we'll quote that separately.

Care plans — what's the difference between $250 and $600?

+
Traffic size, complexity, and included dev hours. A static 30-page WordPress site with five plugins sits at the bottom. A WooCommerce store doing $500K/month with 40 plugins and custom integrations sits at the top. We'll quote your specific site after a 15-minute look around.

Can you help with GA4, GSC, and schema properly?

+
Yes. Most of our clients inherit broken analytics and broken schema from previous agencies. We can clean up GA4 / GTM / GSC setup and implement JSON-LD schema properly as part of a care plan or as a one-off $1,200 fix.

Do you migrate away from page builders?

+
Sometimes, if that's what you want. We don't push it — page builders are fine for most SMB sites. If you're rebuilding anyway and want to move to Gutenberg blocks or a headless setup, we can scope that as a separate engagement.

Let's fix it.

Send us your URL and what's hurting. We'll tell you within 48 hours whether we can help, what it'll cost, and what outcome you should expect.
